Remote session on May 28th 2020Per una indústria tèxtil més sostenible. Casos pràctics cap a l’economia circular
Les indústries tèxtils i en especials les indústries de teixit tècnic, estan fent un esforç considerable durant l’actual crisi per abastir de materials per l’elaboració de peces de protecció.
Alhora, també estan involucrades en un procés de revisió dels seus processos i materials per tals de fer-los més sostenibles i segurs.
En aquesta sessió on-line coneixerem aquesta estratègia que es vincula directament amb les directrius de la UE que proposen una sortida de la crisi de la COVID-19 més verda i sostenible. El sector tèxtil és un dels sectors prioritaris en el Green Deal de la Unió Euroepa.

WORKSHOP CZECH REPUBLIC

December 17th 2019 – FLAREX WORKSHOP
The LIFE-FLAREX project was presented during the workshop organized by CLUTEX and held in ATOK headquarted facilities in Prague on December 17th, 2019.
The workshop program included:
– an overview of the project
– a technical section presenting the first results achieved
The event gathered around 20 people, representing companies (from textile and chemical sectors), R&D Centers and Associations. P
The feedback received have been very positive, showing the interest to follow the LIFE-FLAREX activities for further updates from the industrial demonstration results and cost analysis.

July 12th 2019 – FLAREX WORKSHOP
The LIFE-FLAREX project was presented during the workshop organized by CS-POINTEX and held at Città Studi Biella on July 12th, 2019.
The workshop program included:
– an overview of the project
– a technical section presenting the first results achieved
– an in-depth section on the REACH regulation.
The event gathered around 30 people, representing companies (from textile and chemical sectors), R&D Centers and Associations. Participants were quite active during the workshop, asking information about Flame Retardants and EU Regulations.
The feedback received from the participants got through a satisfaction questionnaire have been very positive, showing the interest to follow the LIFE-FLAREX activities for further updates.

March 14th 2019 – DURATEX-FLAREX WORKSHOP
Duratex is an Interreg V France-Wallonie-Flanders project looking for ecofriendly water and oil repellent textiles.
The European Life project Flarex assesses alternative environmental friendly flame retardants to be used in interior textile.
Both projects organise a workshop focusing on the legislation and industrial use of alternative FR and repellent agents in textiles. The workshop includes an interactive session (World Café) to discuss the challenges and opportunities of using FR and repellents complying to REACH.

FIRST NATIONAL WORKSHOP HELD IN BIELLA, ITALY
The workshop was organized by the Italian cluster CS-POINTEX and attracted 28 people.
The main goals of the workshop were the awareness raising and the presentation of the project outline and first results, including the products selected for performing the corresponding assessments.
